The Queen Of November Nights Anytime this week, northern hemisphere observers can go out in the evening and look north for Cassiopeia and the Big Dipper on opposite sides of Polaris. Note that if you're quite far north this will all be up over your head, and for lower latitudes the Big Dipper might not clear the horizon depending on when you look.
