September's Morning and Evening Planet Show And A Rare Occultation Of Saturn!

The red planet Mars moves across the Teapot of Sagittarius in the month of September.

Saturn's rings are wide open as viewed from Earth at this time of year, making it ideal for viewing through a telescope.
