Last Chance To See Jupiter; Mercury Meets The Moon; And The Hidden Splendor of Gemini!

On May 24, Mercury is just to the right of the slender crescent moon after sunset.

A very powerful telescope would reveal that Mercury is also a crescent in the sky at this time.

Two nights later, the moon has moved far up and to the left of Mercury, near Gemini's bright 'twins', Castor and Pollux.
