The Surprising And Amazing Truth About The North Star And How To Find It
The North Star is easy to find by extending the line made by the two stars at the right edge of the Big Dipper's bowl.
The North Star is always at the same place in the sky from a given location. The farther north you go, the higher it is in the sky. This view is from Moscow.
Moving south to Mexico, we see that the North Star is much lower. South of the Equator, it can't be seen at all!
