StarGazer The Leonid Meteor Shower and The Full Moon Visits Two Planets and A Star Venus can be seen just after sunset in the southwest throughout November. Sharp-eyed observers will be able to pick it out to the upper left of the sun even before sunset. The night of November 12 brings a wonderful collection of objects together in the constellation Taurus. The moon, Saturn, Jupiter, the Pleiades, and Aldebaran are all visible. Look east around 9 PM to see them all. The Leonids meteor shower returns around 3AM on the mornings of November 17th and 18th . Look east at Leo to find the meteors. However, a nearby moon may make it too light to see many meteor streaks.
