"There are few experiences as invigorating as being out in the countryside standing under a canopy of star on a still night. Starry Night conveys that feeling better than any other desktop planetarium"

A Pre Dawn Super Sky Show For The Last Week Of July!

The eastern sky is crowded on the morning of July 26. If you're awake an hour or so before sunrise, look due east to see two planets, a star cluster, a giant red star and the moon all in the same small patch of sky!

Two days later on July 28, the moon has moved above the head of Orion and is moving on towards Mercury, which now rises early enough to be visible just before sunrise.

On the morning of July 29, an almost new moon and Mercury are close enough together to be seen together through any pair of binoculars.
